Chancel Choir
A Blessing to Pine Hill Church
We welcomed Megan Higle as our Music Director in 2010. Megan is experienced as a teacher, rehearsal accompanist, chorister, hand bell director, children's choir director and assistant conductor. Megan holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Marygrove College as well as a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Oakland University where she was assistant to Dr. Michael Mitchell.
The Pine Hill Choir, provides worship leadership through music from September - June with classics like Bach or Bruckner to contemporary artists like Michael W. Smith. The choir, along with our pianist/organist, Irena Steyman, strives to enhance the worship experience for the entire congregation.
Along with "normal" Sunday services, the choir provides extra music on Christmas Eve, presents an Easter Cantata on Palm Sunday and has a few "themed" Sunday's throughout their singing season.
Everyone is welcome to be a part of the choir! Rehearsals take place on Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
