Women's Fellowship

Fundraising and Fellowship

The Women's Fellowship of Pine Hill Congregational Church is an opportunity for the ladies of Pine Hill to get together on a monthly basis.  While some ladies are present in most every Women's Fellowship activity, the Women's Fellowship does not maintain either roles or 'membership'.  The Women's Fellowship is available to any and all members and friends of Pine Hill and the composition of the group changes from one activity to another.  Throughout the year, the Women's Fellowship serves two different roles in the life of the congregation: fundraising and fellowship.

Fundraising

The Women's Fellowship of Pine Hill has embraced two programs that serve as fundraisers for the life of the church.  The rummage sale and spring tea each take place bi-annually (on alternating years) and serve as fundraisers for the Church as a whole.  Depending on the needs of the Church at any given time, these funds are sometimes transferred to the general operating fund of the Church, and at other times used for facility improvements, capital needs, and specialized funding throughout the year.  Tremendous opportunities have arisen in the life of Pine Hill because of the financial assistance that the Women's Fellowship has provided.

Fellowship

The primary role of the Women's Fellowship, however, is fellowship.  The purpose of the Women's Fellowship is to provide an opportunity for relationships between the women of our congregation with monthly activities that include the above items as well as movies, dinner, speakers, annual trips to the Ice Carnival in Plymouth, crafts and more.  The main goal of the Fellowship is to simply come together in the spirit of Christian community and share God's love with one another.
